Seattle Summer 2015
Seattle is one of our favorite cities. It helps that we almost always travel in the summer, avoiding the rain. It also helps that my aunt Linda lives right on Green Lake and is a gracious host. This trip marked our third time to Seattle together. Most of our days included long talks with Linda in her kitchen, rose, walking around Green Lake and eating. Lot’s of eating. This time around we also visited Snoqualmie Falls and had lunch at the Salish Lodge. The exterior of the lodge is in the opening credits to Twin Peaks so, fittingly, we ordered the Dale Cooper cocktail with out meal. We were also first time visitors to the EMP museum and the Chihuly Glass and Gardens exhibit.
